Social Networking at Work
Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube…the list goes on. The Internet has certainly changed the way we connect and communicate with others. Social Networking hasn’t been added to Webster’s yet but it definitely is a household phrase. I myself have had a Facebook account for about a year and located so many people I haven’t spoken to in years. Everyone I know has a Facebook account and the numbers prove its popularity. According to Hrmorning.com about half of all adults in the U.S have a Facebook or Myspace account and the number of people using Twitter has grown by 1,300% in the past 12 months.
